Dr. Carrere is originally from Uruguay. He has been in private practice for 20 years, and completed over 40,000 procedures with a very high adenoma and polyp detection rate. He has a strong passion for clinical patient care, the gastroenterology specialty, and endoscopic procedures.  The main focus of his medical practice is providing quality and compassionate care.

    Alexis was welcoming and professional. Dr. Carrere was able to make a potentially uncomfortable discussion professional and open. Not pushy or scary with need for procedure, but thorough. Options for liquids was appreciated.

    I was able to schedule an appointment after a distressful episode fairly easily which is very important in establishing a good relationship with a new provider. Things are moving quickly as the situation warrants.
